List of modern monitors that support 15 kHz analog RGB signals

Requirements

A list of modern flat panel (LCD, OLED) monitors that directly support analog 15 kHz signals through discrete RGB connectors (VGA, DVI-A, and/or SCART). (Note that Component video is actually YPrPb.)

"Full" 15 kHz RGB Support in the table below means it supports 15kHz signals at least as well as a CRT:

  1. The monitor requires no external scan doubler (such as an XRGB-mini or OSSC) or other powered devices to correctly process analog 15 kHz signals through the RGB connector. Only unpowered adapters are allowed for "full" support.
  2. The monitor is able to display the image centered and in the proper aspect ratio (4:3), shows every pixel of the source signal, and doesn't waste screen space. This means black or grey bars at the top and bottom (but not sides) of a 5:4 monitor and on the sides (but not top or bottom) of a 16:9 or 16:10 monitor.
  3. The monitor supports 240p/288p and 480i/576i and is usable in these modes without annoying flicker, at least not more annoying than a CRT's flicker.
  4. If the user needs to manually center or stretch the image, the settings persist across screen mode changes and power cycles.

"Partial" support deficiencies should be noted in the comments.

First time I switched it on it had persistent flicker, 2nd time, 3rd time fine. Picture quality is ok (LG M2232 MUCH better for comparison - but the auto aspect ratio button on the remote does default the Amiga screen to 4:3 and centred. Pixel refresh rate appears higher than M2232D so interlace modes are terrible (they're ok on M2232D)). Important thing, it seems to work. Will test on Atari ST via RF later

(Supports picture-in-picture). PD: Jul-02-2019 I purchased a model made in April 2005 but it will not work with PAL Amiga 1200 with RGB > VGA cable. JesperG: 06/6-2021, I found one from February 2005, it deos not work with native Amiga systems.
It is possible to replace the main board of units after June 2005 with a board from an earlier model, I replaced a 48.L1V01.A01 board with an earlier 48.L7501.A04 board an it now works. Bigendian: 5/28/2022, my 2001FP is dated July 2004. Tested unsuccessfully with a 15KHz arcade PCB (known working) and it just displayed "can not display this mode". Bernouilli: 10/18/2022, my 2001FP is dated November 2004 and it works fine with Atari 1040STE in color mode. But I have to correct the screen position each time.

Dell P2214Hb TFT 22 1920 1080 16:9 VGA, DVI-D, DisplayPort FULL ? 15 KHz works in both NTSC and PAL with a plain VGA cable. All modes worked perfectly on A500 rev 5 board with ECS Chipset. Auto resized when changing from Pal-NTSC and games displayed properly and full screen in 4:3 with no clipping. Has several internal settings, but other than changing my color, brightness and contrast preference, I used it straight out of the box. Someone changed my review and entered severely WRONG info. You need to NOTE the date, revision and year for USING monitors posted here that DO WORK. Model number used is P2214hb Rev A06 December 2015., NOT 2016, NOT 2014, NOT 2214, NOT rev b, etc..

Recommended settings to remove vertical banding (menu, display settings) - H position 20, Pixel Clock 90, Phase 30 (A500) or 60 (A1200). May depend on individual Amiga.
Dell U2312HMt IPS 23 1920 1080 16:9 DisplayPort, DVI-D, VGA Full ? HiRes/LowRes PAL works with pixel and phase adjustments, I ended up with Pixel Clock 94, Phase 74, but it might depend on your hardware, Tested with a buffered RGB->VGA adapter on Amiga. It can also run DblPAL but you need to tweak the TotClk value on the Amiga and Pixel/Phase on the monitor if you want it perfect, you might also need to run borderblank for it to sync. Seems to display NTSC modes too however this wasn't tested much.

This monitor needs a flicker-fixer to work, but with the flicker-fixer on the Amiga 3000 enabled the experience is okay and somewhat similar to the U2412M (menu's, etc). The U2412M is a more appropriate choice though, and mine does not need a flicker fixer.

LG M2232D-PZ TFT 22 1920 1080 16:9 Composite, HDMI, SCART, VGA, Tuner module Full* ? * Not according to specification - but it does. Tested with Amiga 1200 1D4 at 320x200, 640x200, 640x256, 640x512, 1280x256, 1280x512, via composite and RGB Scart. Works really well with RGB SCART. Also works with PlayStation 2 via SCART in SDTV mode. Also works on Atari 520STFM connected by modulator RF cable in low and medium res. When i switch the SCART connected Amiga off, TV automatically returns to the Atari screen. Bonus.

NEC LCD1970NXp TFT 19 1280 1024 5:4 VGA, DVI-D Partial ? This one can even handle interlaced modes of Amiga 500, 1200 and not properly on Falcon 030. Has vertical stripes with many games (depending on their precise vertical refresh rate, like 49,8Hz or 49,9Hz), which can be compensated by using the 'automatic' setting in a game that actually works fine without stripes (i.e. Xenon II). There is an optional stereo soundbar with 3.5 inch connector available for this monitor, which can be attached to the bottom of the monitor. PAL Hi-Res does NOT work right! Tested with Amstrad CPC 464 and 6128 with SCART adapter cable. Amstrad CPC produce RGB signals with 15KHz line, 50Hz field frequencies (a.k.a. 288p50). Interlaced/composite SCART tested with Sony TRV110E camcorder and Nintendo64 with composite output. Component YPrPb signals tested with Sanyo Xacti HD2000 camcorder in 576i50 mode. Most probably, other Samsung models similar to this one will work, too. The TV accepts 15kHz/50Hz (all variants) on SCART and component connectors, not on VGA input. All 4 criteria of "full support" satisfied, even very good deinterlace (static parts of picture appear totally flicker-free) and, on composite input, some (probably time-based) filtering of color bleed.
